Beta is in!

36!!! Not any sort of outstanding off the wall number, but for 11dpo, its not too shabby.. Definitely pregnant.. (I had a fear that my beta would be like 10 and they were gonna have to tell me I was maybe pregnant)..

I am having another beta on Thursday, along with the bloodwork they need to do in order for me to start the Heparin. The good news is, they are not making me drive all the way to the office to have it done. I can go here in town.

Then pending all of that, I am going on Friday to learn how to do the Heparin.. Hopefully I will get to talk to the RE some more about ultrasounds and further monitoring and such. I would hope that since the entire purpose of me seeing them is to keep me pregnant, they would keep a close eye on me now that I actually am pregnant.. but we never really much discussed it before.. almost like me getting pregnant again was like a theoretical.

I bought some Pregnancy magazines today..and Jeff and I looked at baby name books at Barnes and Noble and cute baby clothes at babygap. I am actually feeling so calm about this pregnancy.. Not necessarily positive, but worried either.. I guess I just realize that i have no control.. so there is not much reason to stress.

I did realize though that the mall that we were at today (the closest one to our house) has no maternity stores and the only baby clothes store they really have is baby gap (and Rainbow, but those are a little bit of ghetto baby clothes since they are just amongst the teenager clothes). Babies R Us is across the street, but I don't think there is a Maternity store anywhere to be found.. Weird..

That's a good one for 11dpo! Congrats, and I'm glad you're calm. Hopefully positive will come later!

I am so glad that you are calm. I know there is alot that you are thinking about right now but I also know that you are a trooper and you are going to do great. I can't wait to hear about the maternity shopping and you adventures in shopping. I really am so happy for you.

I'm glad the beta was good! :) I hope that sense of calm continues for you. Good luck learning how to do the heparin shots and all of that, I hope it goes smoothly. I'm thinking of you!
