beta #3

Beta #3 at 17 dpo came back at 788! :) Doubling time of 35.8 hours.. Up slightly from my 27.8 hour time from the last beta, but its still pretty darn good..
It was a bit of an ordeal to actually GET said Beta drawn. I specifically asked when we were in the office on Friday if I could go to get the beta at Quest.. The nurse said "Definitely".. so I figured this meant they would/already had send the order there. WRONG. I go to Quest at 7:40 or so this morning, thankfully i had no wait at all, even though I didn't have an appointment (I didn't even get to sit in a waiting room chair..).. But they didn't have my order. They tried to call the Dr office, but it was just the answering service and they couldn't get an order faxed there. So I went home and called them back and asked if I could talk to the lady who does the blood draws in the office (She starts at 7). They finally get me through to her and she tells me to just come up to their office and have it done there.. It seems that she didn't really have an order either, but she got it from my chart.. But it all worked out.
The nurse that called me with my results today told me Congratulations and Good Work.. They hadn't really said congratulations before this.. I guess they like to see a certain level or something before they consider me a success.. I am not sure what good work means.. I didn't do THAT much..
Anyway.. i don't have to have anymore betas.. My first Ultrasound will be on Wednesday!! They'll just be looking for the gestational sac.. MAYBE we'll be able to see a yolk sac.. but I'm not getting my hopes up. I'll be 4weeks 5days based on my O date..(5 weeks 2 days based on LMP)

Oh speaking of weeks and days.. Today is my "milestone" day from my first pregnancy. Since its late at night, I've already passed it.. At 4 weeks 3days on my last pregnancy.. in the morning i got an almost negative HPT.. And i had a temp drop. I knew something wasn't right. My dr blew me off.. and I called DH crying hysterically in the afternoon.. By about 8pm, the bleeding started.. But.. this baby has big plans of sticking around I think.. Happy milestone day to me!
