At least I have a somewhat busy 2ww

Ok.. Really.. It's not a 2 week wait.. I will test at 10dpo.. which is a week from Monday.. (its already monday when I type this).. So by the time I am 3dpo and FF officially confirms O.. its a 1 week wait..
Monday.. Working 12-9.. then going to my sisters for Father's Day/my neices birthday..

Tuesday
.. hmm.. nothing all day in the morning..maybe I'll get to the gym for once! but I work 6 til close.. all my coworkers are SOOO excited because there is a Dave Matthews concert.. I'd rather stab out my own eyes than go to a Dave Matthews concert.. so I'll be closing the restaurant..

Wednesday
.. I have a Dr's appt.. its my first appt with my new PCP.. When I made the appt..which was in February, when I first found out I was pg again and my old PCP's office was less than helpful.. I remember thinking.. they're not gonna wanna see me for the first time when I am 4 months pregnant.. Oh well.. that problem is avoided.. Hopefully the gym later on..

Thursday
.. Working 11-3, then a Nestie GTG!!

Friday
.. working at night..

Saturday
.. working at night..

Sunday
- Wine tour day! Hopefully my last day of drinking for quite a while..
Then Monday is testing day..

So.. when I'm not busy with other things this week, I plan on actually getting my house clean.. I have been a total slacker with house work.. I always have some excuse.. My vacuum cleaner sucks.. the bathroom is in disarray, why bother with the rest of the house.. or I just can't get up off my fat ass.. I started on it this evening.. I vacuumed the living room and kitchen, and under the couch.. I haven't moved the couch in quite sometime.. There were 11 toy mice that my cats had thrown under there, plus a few other random cat toys, and some of my hair ties which are Ella's favorite thing.. And a LOT of dust and fur.. My vacuum attachment for the upholstery still doesn't work. I sent a complaint to Bissell on their website tonite, asking them to give me a new one.... I wonder if they will wonder why it took me 6 months to realize that my vacuum attachment doesn't work..Sad.. but thats about how often i feel like vacuuming my couch.. I did the best i could with my other vacuum/attachment.. but the Bissell one really worked much better, when it worked.. I still have the upstairs to vacuum, and i need to REALLY clean the bathroom.. Since the sink still isn't fixed, its a bit of mess still.. but I haven't bothered to clean all the dust and dirt off the walls that was there from all the tile removal, and while I LOVE the way the new floor looks, i suddenly see cat fur all over the floor that i never really saw before (I'm sure it was there), and it seems to show dirt.. (the old floor just always LOOKED dirty, so you could never tell if it really was) The vinyl should be much easier to clean though..

I've also taken up reading again! Whoo hoo.. I read the first in Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series "One for the Money".. It was an easy read, and a good jumping off point for me.. but maybe it was too easy of a read.. I dunno.. maybe i like to read things with a little more substance.. It wasn't bad though.. good for entertainment purposes (and it was written in 1994, so the fashion descriptions are amusing). Now, in a completely different vein.. I'm working on reading "The Awakening" by Kate Chopin.. I wanted to read it as my summer reading book in High School.. but they didn't have it at the store or something, so I ended up reading that "In the Country of Last Things" book that I blogged about earlier.. So.. its been.. 10 years that I've wanted to read the Awakening.. Its about time I got to it.. Next on my list are "Gone Baby Gone" (I loved that movie), and I have Barack Obama's two books on order from Amazon.. If I get through all of those.. I'm gonna attempt "A Tale of Two Cities".. yep.. I'm a glutton for punishment.. Jeff also bought 1984, which I don't THINK I ever read.. but I might read that too. What I will not be reading is Darwin's Origin of Species.. which Jeff bought insisting he wants to read. Thats right up there with listening to Dave Matthews Band on my list of things I want to do.. Oh.. and I have some miscarriage grief books coming too.. I never ordered them way back when I was looking at them.. I always wait til i can get the free shipping from Amazon.. so I didn't order til I found the Barack Obama books..so I'm getting them now.. I think they'll still be interesting to read.. Next on my list of books to buy from Amazon are In The Country of Last Things, which I think i want to re-read.. and "Comfort:A Journey Through Grief" by Ann Hood. Apparently Ann Hood is a fiction author, but this book is her memoir about the sudden loss of her 5 year old daughter.. I picked it up in Barnes and Noble today and started crying reading the first few paragraphs..

Ah well.. this has been quite the rambling blog.. Expect more of these boring blogs as I distract myself during my one week wait.
