And..

Its now 4pm and yet another day has gone by with no call from my Dr's office. I called this afternoon and talked to "Mary" who is the lady I was talking to yesterday.. She said that she was "in the front" today and was not the one handling the Dr's calls. (Apparently a medical degree makes it impossible to dial phones for yourself.. ).. but that she had me at the "top of the list" yesterday so the girls doing the calls would be calling me this afternoon..
This leads me to believe some sort of mistake has been made and my name is indeed not on the list of people to be called.. Seriously. I'm ready to give up on them.. Everytime i call there I get NOWHERE.. the only time I accomplish anything is if I get lucky enough for them to call me..(which is usually randomly, when I least expect it and I am no where near my phone)

In other medical news, Jeff had a bit of an incident today. We were at the gym, and he apparently decided he felt lightheaded and headed to the car to get his inhaler.. but only made it to the lobby. He doesn't remember what happened really once he got to the lobby, but the Y people said they sat him down in a chair and gave him orange juice and then he passed out and fell out the chair. He fell right on his face, he thinks..
Its probably because he hadn't eaten anything today and not much yesterday.. He feels OK now except he thinks he has a concussion and his lip is cut from falling..
It was strange, because I was doing my thing on the elliptical and I get paged to the front desk.. I think to myself. "REALLY? Jeff couldn't walk around and FIND me and tell me he was ready to go?" So I make my way down there to find him in a chair in the lobby with an ice pack on his mouth.. and the ambulance arriving..
We didn't go to the hospital.. because he felt better except from the fall, but we called the Dr's office when we got home and They said they'd call us back.. (I bet you can guess where this is going).. They did call back, but Jeff didn't answer the phone in time.. He called back when he got the message (Which was almost right away).. but then he kept getting put on hold and then disconnected. He said this happened 4 times... this was probably 2:15 or so.. So then he kinda gave up and called back at like 3:50 and the office is closed already.. Fabulous.. I think he's fine.. He might have a concussion though, but he's had those before and knows what to do.. there isn't much a Dr could really do anyway.. But it would be nice if for once we could have a successful interaction with a Dr.. Just for fun, you know?
