Off to the fertility specialist..

yikes. So went for my post D&C follow-up.. My Dr had told me the day of the D&C that they would definitley do testing afterwards to see if there is a reason for the recurrent miscarriages... and she would refer us to a specialist.. "if necessary".. Well.. apparently.. its necessary.. she basically just checked me out.. (I'm all healed!) and gave me the number for the specialist. In the end, i'm glad.. I figured that is where we would end up anyway.. one way or another.. and this way its happening sooner rather than later.. Its scary.. kind of exciting.. but yeah.. mostly scary.. No idea what to expect. The good news is my best friend saw this same Dr. and had her beautiful twins in two cycles (obviously she had different issues than mine.. but still!). My appointment is next Monday already.. I like that they can get me in quick!
My dr also told me that we don't have to avoid getting pg this cycle.. she said probably not to actively try.. but if it happens, it happens.. To me.. this is a giant GREEN LIGHT.. I am still a little torn about it.. but I am going to start charting again.. and we will see where things go from there after the specialist appointment. I honestly think I have at least two more weeks until I will be anywhere close to ovulating.. I am still getting faint positives on HPTs.. and my cycles are wacked out anyway.. so I have a while to think about it.. :)
