Shower Recap.

Well.. I haven't uploaded any pics yet.. but I will get there, eventually.. I am anxious to see the ones my cousin took as well, cuz she is a GREAT photographer and has a nice camera. I sort of want to pay her to take some maternity pics..

Anyway.. My shower was AMAZING.. a little overwhelming, but AMAZING.. There was probably around 40 people, all in my sisters house, which is a big house, but it was hard to keep track of where everyone was and everyone I wanted to see and chat with.. A few of my nestie friends came, which was WONDERFUL, 6 or so of my current coworkers came and two former coworkers I haven't seen in a long time, some old friends from high school.. only one of my college friends made it, and my aunts and a few of my cousins and my grandma.. Then there were like friends of my mom's, friends of Jeff's mom's, Jeff's mom and sister, and a bunch of my sisters friends.. LOTS of people.. It was so nice to see everyone and see everyone being so excited about the baby.

I got SOOO much stuff.. My coworkers all chipped in and got our convertible carseat as well as a few other gifts, my MIL of course bought a whole bunch of stuff, strollers, carseat, crib sheets, and all sorts of things.. The only thing I got two of was the diaper genie. I actually got two diaper genies and a diaper champ. I have decided I am keeping the diaper champ and returning both diaper genies. We got a Jumperoo and a bouncy seat (which I am having a heck of a time assembling..).. LOTS of adorable clothes and other baby necessities.. plenty of diapers and wipes.. Really the only stuff i want to buy still are some basic onesies and stuff, our monitor (its the movement monitor, so its pricey), possibly our swing, and a few more things for her room, from the stuff that matches the bedding set.

We are really pretty much all set for baby, now I just have to start washing stuff.. Have I mentioned that a two story house with the bedrooms upstairs and the laundry in the basement is a BIG GIANT pain in the butt? And quite literally now, a pain in the butt, since my hip/tailbone area has been acting up SEVERELY this past week. I really really wish I had a laundry shoot.

Ahh. I should get back to picking up the house and organizing the nursery. Tonight is my work christmas party..
