non-update

So.. as you may recall, when Jeff called the Dr's office after the big ultrasound to see when we'd be able to get another u/s. According to him, what they told him was that if we told the dr what happened and asked, they'd do an u/s for us at our next appt.. I don't know if he misunderstood, or the receptionist lied to him, or if today was just an exceptionally busy day at the office (We waited for the dr in the exam room for about a half hour before she showed).. but that was not the case..

Instead, she is sending us to the hospital for a "growth ultrasound" (I'm actually measuring fine..) but we have to wait about 3 weeks.. til November 11th.. I'm thankful she's willing to order it at all, but I was a little disappointed (read..i cried after we left the office) this morning cuz we thought we would know today!

Good news is.. baby's sounding great, HB was 162.. I am measuring "on time" and I got a lot of my questions about the clotting disorders and other random stuff answered so I feel a lot better about that.. I am not going to see a specialist.. but my OB assured me she has "a lot" of patients on heparin..so I assume she is monitoring everything she needs to monitoring for now and she confirmed that once I get further a long I will be going in for biophysical profiles and NSTs as "part of the deal" with heparin.. And that I will probably be induced somewhere around 39 weeks if I don't go into labor before then..(So probably a february baby?) And I got a flu shot..

We also registered today! There is LOTS of stuff for babies.. We registered for lots of stuff.. some of it was probably silly.. but a lot of good stuff too! However.. it was a LOT of pink stuff.. So this little one better not be planning on growing a penis in the next 3 weeks.
