Ultrasound, Baby Classes, and more spoiling.

So bright and early this morning, we went to the hospital for our growth ultrasound.. Eve looks PERFECT. She weighs somewhere around 3lb13oz.. Which is way bigger than I thought she would be (OK, maybe like a half pound bigger). But she is still in the 46th percentile, so its not as though she is growing at some alarming rate.. She's basically perfectly average. I am so proud of her! But I can't believe i have almost 4 lbs of baby in me! The girl did measure my cervix and she said everything looks good.. All the fluid levels look good too.. Thank goodness.. I really was scared last week that I was gonna end up on bedrest or something.. I finally started treating my yeast infection last night and it seems to have drastically calmed down the braxton hicks as well.. So I really think my Dr is wrong in saying one thing does not have to do with the other. I have had a few today still, but nothing like it was last week.

In slightly less fun news.. Starting next week, I have to go EVERY SINGLE WEEK to the hospital for NSTs. NSTs don't even sound FUN.. I don't get to see the baby.. just get strapped to some monitors for awhile. I SWEAR they told me they would be every two weeks.. I don't know if my Dr made it weekly cuz of my contractions, or if that really is just routine for her Heparin patients or what.. Next week I am going on Thursday, but then the rest of the weeks in January I am going on Tuesdays.. and I made ALL the appts at 8 am.. I really don't know what I was thinking. Why didn't I do 9 or something? I could still go there and be able to get to work by 11 or 12.. Jeff is gonna go with me to the first one for sure.. but I told him he doesnt have to come to all of these.. I will just have to get over my fear of driving to the hospital (I have done it LOTS of times, but the last time I drove myself it was in heavy traffic and I had a bit of anxiety about it).

I officially signed up for my baby classes. I am taking them at this great little place I found called Babys Sweet Beginnings.. Its is run by a lactation consultant and a doula/childbirth educator, and they are WONDERFUL. They are actually working two of the classes around OUR schedule because Jeff's work schedule is so annoying (which was the reason we couldn't really do the hospital classes). We are taking a two class Childbirth Education Class.. And then Breastfeeding 101, Joy of Parenting, and Happiest Baby on the Block. I am really excited to take them.. But seriously, any of you buffalo area ladies.. check this place out. They have a nice little store with lots of breastfeeding and other baby supplies.

While I was working and signing up for classes today, my Mother in law was busy doing what she does best, spoiling her unborn grandchild. Between her and my parents and a couple of Jeff's aunts.. basically EVERY SINGLE large baby item on our registry has now been purchased.. Carseat, stroller, snap n go, bouncer, jumperoo, pack and play, high chair.. The only things BIG really left are the swing, the convertible carseat and the movement monitor. Plus, my mother in law also bought a bunch of smaller practical things today to finish off the room.. Changing pad, covers for it, crib mattress pad, crib sheets, recieving blankets.. She called and told me all of this by the way, because she wanted to make sure everything was off the registry.. All this stuff is going to be my shower gifts from her and SIL, but STILL its a TON of stuff. My shower is less than 2 weeks away now! Eeek!
