We survived Christmas!

I must admit, I was really not "feeling" christmas this year.. Shopping seemed like a hassle.. I didn't LOVE any of the gifts I bought for anyone.. Decorating our tree seemed kind of half-assed.. but Christmas came nonetheless.

Jeff got me a necklace that is a diamond heart, but it has a heart shaped Amethyst, in it..Amethyst is the february birthstone.. So.. we are betting on Eve being a february baby.. I don't THINK my Dr will let me go all the way to my due date.. but its still not 100%.. I kinda asked Jeff.. like.. what if something happens and she ends up being born in January or March? I don't know if Kay's takes returns.. Its really pretty though.. and I love it! He also bought us tickets to see RENT in January. I love RENT.

Then my sister bought Jeff a WiiFit, which is awesome.. He loves it and I wanna play it too! My Sister got me uggs.. I have to switch the size on them though.. My parents got us a whole bunch of stuff off our registries.. Our Pack and Play, our highchair, a picture/sign for Eve's room and a MobyWrap.. Jeff's parents got us mostly practical stuff, plus his mom has done so much for the nursery and she is buying us a new front storm door cuz ours is shot.. She did buy me some maternity clothes, but I think I am going to return them and maybe just buy some basic camis and/or nursing tanks.. cuz I really don't need a red maternity sweater or a dress.. The dress is pretty.. but I dont know when I will wear it.. Oh and we got a new sheet set for our bed so I can throw out some of the old ones that are gross..

And just now my friend came out to visit. She knitted Eve the CUTEST little sweater.. I can't even believe how intricate and detailed it is! I will have to take a picture of it later, it is seriously adorable. I also want to get some photos of Eve's rapidly growing wardrobe. A few weeks ago it seemed like we had no clothes for her.. and now it seems we have TONS! Although, most of it are like PJ's and stuff, and she has no pants..

In slightly scarier news, on Tuesday, Wed and Thursday I had been having a LOT of braxton-hicks contractions. They say that 4 per hour or something is what is OK.. I don't know if I ever had more than 4 per hour, but just that they'd kept up for a couple days was pretty scary. I called the Dr this morning.. ..She said it could be nothing at all, or being caused by something like a UTI.. or it could be Preterm labor.. and there is really no way to tell without checking my cervix.. So she said to see how things go today and if it got any worse or anything got painful to go to L&D.. Otherwise she'll check me for a UTI and check my cervix at my appt on Monday.. but so far today.. I think I have only had two all day since I got up at 8:30.. and I'm feeling much better generally.. I do think it MIGHT be UTI related, because it seems whenever I get a very noticable one I also suddenly have to pee very badly.. even if i just peed a few minutes before..

Ahh.. OK. its back to work for me..Its probably going to be BUSY tonight.. so hopefully I make tons of money! I am working a short shift tomorrow and then I'm off Sunday and Monday so i will get a little break to recover from Christmas then.

February is a wonderful month:) My good friend is due in February, but will probably go in late January. I was due in April, but was born in February and turned out okay:) I'm sure you can exchange the gift, but it is so thoughtful!

Have a wonderful New Year:) You have lots to do!!!

I am so happy to see the "happies" made it for Evie. I couldn't help myself. lol. I am glad you like them. Sorry it has been so long to reply. Christmas and being sick have kept me totally down all week. Take care of yourself and that precious baby. I will check in soon.

What a pretty necklace. We might end up having these babies closer than 2 weeks.
