Rather uneventful Dr. Appt.

I had my Dr. appt this morning that was rescheduled from Thursday. Jeff couldn't come with me, he had to go to work. Boo. Between the waiting room and waiting in the exam room, I saw the Doctor fifty minutes after my scheduled appt time.. And this was at 8:45 on a Monday. How can you be 50 minutes late already only 45 minutes into your work week?

I gained 2lbs.. Which is fine.. so that makes like 5 total.. still way under the "norm" but at least I am gaining. A few things seemed a little odd to me though. The first was that my blood pressure was WAAAY low.. something like 54/98. I have never had it be anything that wasn't in the 70/120 range.. But no one seemed to find it odd.. My theory on the matter was that I screwed up my heparin yesterday and took my "morning" dose at 3pm.. and then my evening dose around 1am.. and then this mornings dose super early at like 8am.. so I had three doses in about 18 hours.. But.. since no one asked about it.. then when she tested my urine she said there was "a little protein" but that it was nothing to worry about..I am SO not a fan of the nurse that I saw today.. She seems less than enthusiastic about just about everything.. And she sounded hungover..

The Dr. came in.. measured the belly.. they never tell me the measurements but I assume all is well.. It took her a LOOOONG time to find Eve's heartbeat today.. but we could hear her moving around and kicking and punching.. There are still a lot of movements that I don't feel. The Dr. said she feels bad for me when she is born cuz she would NOT stay in one spot.. She finally found it though.. it was 152.. She is having me go for another growth u/s in two weeks and I also have my next appt in two weeks with a different Dr. Hopefully a different nurse too.

I went to work after that.. and when I got home tonight, all of the stuff that my mother in law ordered for us from RH baby & child had come.. except for the rug.. The rug is on backorder.. But this is what we got..

The cradle set is going to take more modification than I originally thought to fit in the cradle.. Its probably about an inch smaller on all dimensions than what it claims to be..I think it can still be made to work.. time for my MIL to work her magic.

In the meantime, through all of the sad kitty stuff, in an attempt to make us feel better MIL has given me MORE outfits for Evie.. A whole bunch of carters stuff.. A cute set of 5 pink and brown onesies, a sweet polka dotted blanket with a lamby on it.. and a warm fleece sleep sack, which is also pink and brown i believe.
