On Thursday and Friday last week, we went to Cleveland, Canton, and Pittsburgh. We left on Thursday morning and drove to Cleveland. We had tickets to the Browns/Broncos game. I am a Broncos fan, and DH is a Notre Dame fan and in a very cool coincidence, Brady Quinn was making his first NFL start.. (obviously announced well after we had our plans in place). We got to our hotel in the afternoon and then headed to downtown cleveland. We went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame first.. It was pretty interesting, and there was some cool things, but i felt some areas were lacking, and there was way too much country stuff.. I am glad we didn't drive to Cleveland just for that.
After the Hall of Fame, we had some time to kill before the game.. We just kinda lingered around the stadium for awhile. We got to see some of the Browns players driving up in their Hummers and Escalades and getting checked in by security.
Then once the gates opened, we went into the stadium and stood down by the field for about an hour and watched the warm ups..
Our seats were MUCH higher up in the stands.. but it was a great game, and the weather was pretty mild for a night in November.. The Broncos were down for a big part of the game, but they ended up winning! Go broncos!
Then Friday morning, we left Cleveland pretty early and drove to Canton, OH for the Pro Football hall of Fame. We had been to Canton in 04 when John Elway was inducted into the hall of fame, but I had never been through the actual hall/museum. I found that to be much more interesting than the Rock and Roll Hall of fame. We took lots of pictures..
From Canton, we drove to Pittsburgh to go to IKEA.. We b

After IKEA, we drove across Pittsburgh to Monroeville, which as other Kevin Smith fans may note, is where the new movie Zach and Miri Make a Porno is shot. We also visited a Babies R Us there and bought Evie's bedding for 25% off!
Then we finally headed home.. and were happy to be there!
