So Thursday night I had a pretty MAJOR attack. It was my own fault. I ate a yummy Apple Carmel Crepe at the nestie GTG.. But nonetheless, i was in serious pain and got hardly any sleep. Tylenol took the edge off the pain, but it was still rough, and it wore off before the pain was done, so I woke up at 5am in excruciating pain..had to take more. Finally fell asleep on the couch again after an hour or so..
Friday morning, I did call my OB first thing when I woke up. The receptionist was very helpful and actually had me hold while she spoke to the Dr instead of having to wait for someone to call me back. Dr. Called me in a script for Loratabs. But....she said I need to see a surgeon. I tried explaining that the surgeon doesn't want to do anything with me.. but I was talking to the receptionist still, not the dr.. So I didn't get very far. So with this new piece of information, I was very confused.
Got my prescription, and then called the surgeon's office directly. The lady on the phone there repeated that they won't do anything unless its an emergency, but she did make an appt for me to come in and at least talk to the surgeon so I can at least have a plan. So that is this coming wednesday. I managed not to have an attack last night and I went to the store today so I can have plenty of low fat foods to eat here. The tricky part is gonna be eating low fat while at work. There is food EVERYWHERE when you work in a restaurant. Delicious food. And I can't eat hardly ANY of it.
Meanwhile.. The nursery is getting painted!!! My mother in law is here priming it right now and Jeff is going to paint tomorrow. I am using the paint fume excuse so I'm not painting.. but honestly.. I have no desire to paint and I am also pretty bad at painting. I cannot do edges at all..
Anyway.. this is the paint color we picked out.
It is "Pretty in Pink" by Behr Disney. Its the color of the top wall in this pic. I do realize all this princess and pink and purple stuff in this picture is nauseating... but with our brown and white bedding and white furniture, I don't think ours will look nearly so awful. I told you that we bought our bedding last week, and a mirror for Evie's room. And the crib is in, even though I am awful and haven't even called the place to arrange a time to pick it up. So now we need to find a Glider (Upon further investigation it seems the chair that I LOVED may no longer come in white..) If you happen to come across a nice white wood glider with pink or brown cushions, please tell me! And I need curtains. I'll probably just have valances made, either from a sheet that matches my bedding, or some cute polka dot fabric I saw at Walmart, depending on how much pink I decide I need. And an area rug.. preferably one that doesn't cost a FORTUNE. Here's a couple options
but its $300 for a 5x7. And this one.. I love too..
So I'm in the market for a cute, cheap, somewhat modern looking pink and brown area rug, at least 5x7.

I'm sorry to hear about the gallstones, I developed gallstones as a result of pregnancy and ended up having my gallbladder out when dd was 9 weeks old, I started getting attacks when she was 3 weeks old and after 6 weeks just couldn't take it anymore. I hope your attacks aren't to bad from now on so that you don't have to have surgery while your little dd is still in there! Good Luck!
PS-Love the nursery colors!
