25 weeks pics and other non-sense.

Hello there.. I think its time for a more positive post.

I had my OB appt. It went fine.. I am still not sure why my Dr. told me on the phone to see the surgeon, because she said what he said is normal.. Which is fine.. but why did I pay the $40 to go see him then? She is however retesting my blood counts since my PCP said I was anemic.. She is doing it along with my 1-hour glucose test.. and she said to do it NEXT WEEK! Then, my next appt will be at 28 weeks.. it would normally be my last "4-week" appt.. but since I have been a week behind (I started with my OB at 9 weeks instead of 8 since I saw the RE) I am going in 3 weeks, and then after that, it will be every two weeks! And I think sometime not too long after that is when I'll start going to the hospital every other week for NSTs and BPPs. Everything looked great at the Dr's appt. I have not gained a pound since my appt in September. So I THINK I am up 3 lbs total. They might have it as 4 because I think I told them at my first appt "I might have gained a lb" so they subtracted a lb.. Nobody seems concerned except the nurse who gave me a really mean/weird look about it.. Anyway, I have decided that THIS Dr. is my favorite Dr and she would be my first choice to deliver Eve.. but obviously I probably won't have a choice.. and DH thinks I'm nuts for liking one Dr. more than another.


After my Dr's appt I went and looked at the fabric choices for my Glider again, and decided on a pink fabric with brown polka dots. Its like a microfiber type fabric. We ordered that over the phone last night, at least I hope we did.. I am still not convinced that the glider actually comes in white, even though the lady at the store showed me in her book that it does. (It says on the manufacturers website that it doesn't, and another store carries the same chair, and they told me it didn't come in white). I hope they would have called me by now if the order didn't go through, but I am also paranoid that the lady got my phone number wrong on the order, because when she repeated it back, she reversed two numbers, and I corrected her, but she just said "YEAH".. like I had said the same thing she said.. I PROBABLY am gonna have to call there on Monday and make sure everything is OK with it.. because I am not terribly confident in the saleslady's capabilities.

After that, Jeff and I went to Babies R Us and bought Eve's name for her wall.. If you can't tell from the pictures, the E's are white with pink and brown polka dots and the V is pink brown and white stripes. I LOVE them and they were only $7 each. I see them online for like $25 a letter and I got her whole name under $25. This is one perk of having a short name.

Oh.. and Sunday will be 100 days til my due date! Isn't that craziness???
