More Doctors

So I met with the surgeon today who my PCP recommended for the whole gallbladder thing.. He sort explained everything better to me today.. Basically... I just have gallstones.. no infection, no inflammation, which is a good thing.. means that nothing life threatening is really happening with these attacks, even though I feel like I'm gonna die.. He was a very nice guy though..

BUT.. other than that it was kind of a waste of time..and a $40 copay.. I kinda was hoping to set something up to have my gallbladder out as soon as I have the baby.. However, he just said to call him once she is born and set it up then.. So.. no real answer there.. He didn't really give me any GREAT answers on what to eat... he just said basically "nothing that tastes good".. which is pretty much what I've already determined. I shouldn't have even really bothered with the appt. The only reason I made it is cuz my OB told me to. Also, the surgeon guy didn't seem thrilled with the fact that my OB gave me Loratab.. and warned me not to take it very much.. Because just masking the pain could make me not be able to tell if there was a bigger problem. So basically.. more of different answers from different doctors.

Tomorrow is my OB appt. So I can report to her that the surgeon told me to deal with it even though she is the one that said I should see them.. Also.. my b/w from my PCP came back with me being "slightly anemic".. so I have to mention that to them.. I REALLY feel like my OB should have been monitoring all my bloodwork more closely this whole time.. Especially with the fact that I'm on blood thinners and all.. I haven't had ANY bloodwork checked through them since after my 9 week appt.. And haven't had my blood counts done through them at all (I had them checked through my RE at about 6 weeks). Its pretty frustrating.. I was pretty accepting at my last OB appt when the Dr told me that they have tons of patients on Heparin.. (and apparently its not routine to monitor them more closely).. but now with all of this and sort of feeling blown off by them last week, I'm annoyed again. I really like the Dr I am seeing tomorrow, BUT, she is also the one that was telling me to see the surgeon over the phone.. And she told me herself she didn't know how to write a script for Heparin, so that makes me a tad less believing that they have"tons" of patients on it..
