Telling my nieces about their new cousin.

So.. my neices and nephew are vaguely aware that they are getting a cousin.. They only have I think one other REAL cousin (And some step-cousins I think on my BILs side).. and she lives far away and is older than all of them.. So this is sort of a foreign concept to them. Especially my four year old neice, I think.. She has no idea what a cousin is, I don't think, and she MIGHT think its one of her christmas present.

So.. to my neices.. I say..
So.. your new cousin is going to be a girl..
Quinn (8): It is? Yay!
Kennedy (4): Well, whats mine gonna be?
Me: Yours is a girl too..
Me again: And her name is gonna be Eve, do you like that name?
Quinn: Yeah.
Kennedy: Whats mine's name gonna be?

Hehe... She's cute..

And.. the random bar customer who we've all sort of adopted as part of our family (he actually may be coming to Thanksgiving at my house).. seemed entirely too excited of the prospect of me having a girl.. He was by far the MOST excited person I've told that its gonna be a girl.. Which is completely random.
