Yesterday, we had our first ever all-upstate NY Nestie GTG.. The nest is a LITTLE silly in that they lump everything from Buffalo to Albany to Binghamton all in one big "local" board.. For those of you unfamilar, its about 4.5 to 5 hours from Buffalo to Albany, so its not really feasible for us to have local bard GTGs.. So each city kind of ends up having their own GTGs etc.. So we decided a few months back that we should get EVERYONE together.. Mrsoc was wonderful enough to do the planning, and planned a lovely little day in Skaneatles for us.. I was the only Buffalo nestie who made it out there, but I was lucky enough to carpool with some wonderful ladies from Rochester. It was a wonderful time.. First we had lunch at The Sherwood Inn, which is such a cute restaurant, in a great old building.. Then we went on a site-seeing cruise on the lake. Finally, we did some walking around and peeking in the cute little shops.. The town reminded me of my own cute little town, except much nicer, and with a lake! I only took a few photos, but I know other girls had a lot more!
