The fair is tiring.

I went to Erie County Fair today with two of my lovely friends from work.. I love those girls! I am exhausted though! We played games, they rode lots of rides and drank beer, and did a LOT of walking around and eating! I had french fries, Nachos, and cotton candy.. and a fresh squeezed lemonade.. Yummmm.. There is a LOT of food at the fair.. I could go back and just eat for days.. We didn't even see the one big food aisle til we were leaving..

Also, my trend of things hitting me in the head continued, but this time it was due to the clumsiness of my dear friend Lori, who is, in fact, THE most accident prone person on the planet.. She managed to have a ceramic coffee mug fly off its own handle while she was swinging it in her hand, and it flew INTO my head at close range and then bounced off and shattered on the ground behind me.. I actually have a bump from that one.. If clumsiness really does get worse with pregnancy, I don't want to ever see her pregnant. With in the past month she has broken her toe and cut her heel/ankle open to the point where she SHOULD have gotten stitches (but didn't).. and in the year and a half that I've known her she's had at least 2 or 3 other fairly serious injuries.

Now I am exhausted though. We got our new DVR box for direcTV today.. I am debating whether to bother trying to set it up tonight or to just lay on the couch for the remainder of the envening. The good news is my house is FAIRLY clean since Lori came over this morning, so I don't have to feel guilty about that.
