So after last week's Dr appt with Eve's slow weight gain, we had to go back today for a weight check. I had been trying a few different things to try to speed up her weight gain.. Feeding her a little more often during the day, eating ice cream (lots of it).. we tried pumping after feedings and giving her a bottle after nursing a few times, but honestly she ususally threw up the whole bottle.. The only thing i was really consistent on was the ice cream.. :)
Well I am happy to report that Eve gained 8 ounces in a week (which is the same as she gained in 2 weeks last time). I will say that I fed her right before we left this time, which I didn't do the last time.. so at least a couple ounces might just be in her belly.. but in anycase... it was MUCH better...
I am so proud of her. :)
