My little girl Eve Amelia arrived on February 24th, 2009. She weighed 6lb 9.9oz and was 19 inches long.. And she is absolutely perfect. I am not going to post a full birth story just yet.. it was an interesting day.. I was induced starting at 8am.. and she arrived at 5:51pm.. So it was a pretty easy and non-eventful induction.. except for all the little things that went wrong along the way.. I can't complain though.. She is perfectly healthy and growing big and strong already. Breastfeeding is a bit of a challenge, but we have a great lactation consultant and we are really starting to get the hang of it.. Jeff is going back to work tomorrow... so at least for the evening i am going to be on my own.. so it will be a little bit of an adjustment for us.. Jeff has been AMAZING and more of a help to me and a wonderful daddy than I ever ever could have imagined..
