I haven't taken her one month old picture yet.. But we went to her Dr. appt this morning.. Unfortunately.. Eve's weight gain has slowed down.. Between her 4 day and 2 weeks appts she was gaining great.. More than an ounce a day.. from 5lb 14oz to 6lb 12oz.. well in the 2 weeks since she has only made it up to 7lb4oz. So only 8 ounces in 14 days.. And I had her weighed almost a week ago (different scale.. but still) and she was 7lb2oz.. so she might have only gained 2 oz in the last 6 days? She is nursing a little less often.. especially at night she has been sleeping longer and sometimes in the afternoon she'll have one longer 3-4 hour stretch before she goes back to her frequent evening nursing pattern.. I don't know what to do.. Should i wake her up to feed her during the day if she is sleeping? Make sure she eats every 2 hours? The dr said I can keep letting her sleep at night.. but I have to take her back next week for a weight check.. which I'm dreading.
Everything else is perfect though. She has plenty of dirty diapers.. Dr. says her tone is great and she's strong.. And she is getting crazy long.. She was 22 inches today which is something like the 90th percentile, up from like the 50th at birth.. while her weight is like the 5th percentile :(.. Poor little long skinny thing..
In my heart, I know she is fine, but I want her to be absolutely perfect. I hate thinking she is hungry or not getting enough nutrition..

I am so glad that things are going well with the fair Ms. Eve. I got a wonderful package of the cutetest outfits yesterday and I want to say thank you for them. You really didn't have to. They are precious. Even DH was talking about it. I will have to go blog about it now. lol. Take care of that angel.
Hey there - I know nothing about babies, really, but I'm thinking if she wasn't getting enough to eat she'd be crying to let you know? Again, I don't know - just what popped into my head. ;-)
