Never quite sure how to answer questions that come in the form of blog comments.. But E_sharp asked below what the reasons for our induction are.
Basically, the simple reason is the Heparin... No.. it is not 100% necessary to be induced because I am on Heparin.. Heparin basically only stays in one's system for 12 hours maximum after an injection.. I stopped the baby aspirin at 36 weeks because that stays in your system longer (Ironic that low dose over the counter aspirin stays in your system longer than injectible blood thinners that cost like $200 for a months supply). Basically, if I did go into labor shortly after taking a dose of heparin, the main risks would be in the case of needing a fast emergency c-section, or needing an epidural shortly after.. Basically you can't get an epidural or spinal while on Heparin.. Because while all three of my Dr's do agree that it is simpler to have the induction scheduled so I can stop my Heparin the day before and everything, they also all agree that A)If I go into labor on my own before then, it is most likely not going to be a life threatening situation.. and B)Ultimately, if I am not OK with being induced, they won't do it, and we will deal with the complications/hold ups of the heparin.
I am OK with the induction though.. I do know all the pros and cons of it.. and obviously the biggest con is if it fails to work, which means c-section and possible risks to the baby.. which I definitely don't like.. And I am also a little bit sad on the idea that I won't really get to have the whole "early labor" experience without all the IVs and stuff like that.. but thats minor in the long run..

OK, that makes total sense. There's a completely valid reason for you to be induced. I forgot about that stuff. I'm sure it will all go down like butta, smooth and easy!
