36ish week Dr. appt.

Basically good news all around at the Dr today.. The bad part was.. we had to WAIT forever for my Dr again.. And I don't think she was doing something important like she was at the hospital or something.. We could hear the nurses talking outside the room and they said something about "dropping off the kids" and she was on her way.. Hmm.. My appt was at 8:15, I was basically all set in my room (pantsless now, since I'm having weekly internals) by 8:15.. and the Dr. came in a little before 9:15.. YAY.. The also other kind of bummer thing about sitting in the room so far, is that we could hear all the conversations the nurses were having with people on the phone.. There were TWO different people calling about suspected m/c.... which made me SO sad.. The one I guess had been bleeding for awhile, and took an HPT on a whim, and was pg.. got + blood tests too, but was still bleeding, so was getting sent for an ultrasound right away.. The other I THINK had already had an u/s in the office, and hadn't seen the h/b.. but were waiting to see, and she had called because she started bleeding. I heard the nurse tell her not to cry.. So.. that was the bad stuff.

Good stuff was, my blood pressure was back down.. 110/70. so back to normal, or better.. I actually "lost" two lbs from my appt last week (i forgot to take my shoes off last week, so I really just haven't gained anymore). I am up a total of 13lbs, so I'm really happy about that.. I was gaining pretty quickly for a few weeks there and felt that I was getting a little out of control, but it seems to be better now.. All my urine was good and everything. When the Dr. came in, she was really great.. Eve's hr was 164 (I really don't get why its higher on the dopplar than either the u/s or the monitors at the hospital, but it always is). My internal was slightly uncomfortable (worse than the one I had last week, it was a different dr).. She said I am 1 cm, which is enough where she will proceed with a straightforward induction.. meaning I can just go in the morning, and start pitocin.. don't need the cervadil or anything like that.. So I'll go in at 6 am on the 24th and start the pitocin.. She predicts baby will be here by 3 or 4pm.. She made it sound way too easy.. haha.. Oh and she photocopied my charts so I will have them to bring to the hospital.. so I guess that means Evie can come at any time now! She told me not to panic if I do go into labor on my own.. I am still a little worried about that with the heparin and all.. but mostly i am just SO excited that my baby girl is going to be here in something like 18 days!

Holy Moley, 18 days, wow. Okay so you haven't posted in a few days (I know I am behind) so I am wondering if you are in labor on your own. Oh man, I am so excited for you. It seems so sureal. I can remeber before you got pregnant but now you are about to give birth and I just can't believe it. I am so happy to say that I know you thru the blog.
