On Wednesday, we took Eve to be seen by our Family Practice Dr. Actually, we saw the PA. I AM SO SO happy that we did. Even the nurses were more pleasant.. The PA, Andrea is just THE nicest girl.. I have always liked her when DH and I have seen her in the past. She's super sweet, but also really knows her stuff.
Anyway.. Eve only weighed 10lbs5oz.. but thats enough to put her in the 11th percentile for weight. Not high, I know, but she's moving up..I'm a big dork, and printed out my own growth chart... and she's been slowly moving UP on her percentiles since her one month appt. Both at 1 month and 2 months she was "somewhere between the 5th and 10th" percentile, because the old pedi's office just did it on paper, where this one plugs it into the computer for an exact #... but she was closer to the 5th at 1 month and the 10th at 2 months.. so now she's over 10%. Whoo hoo.. Her height, well she was 23" at 2 months and 23.25" at 3 months, so she actually dropped in her percentiles there, but I highly suspect the old pedi nurse over estimated height, since according to them, she grew 2 full inches in her first month.. So she's in around the 45% for height..
The PA was also SUPER impressed with Eve's leg strength especially.. Eve loves loves loves to stand.. She said that the length of time that Eve can hold herself up on her legs is really impressive.. Everything looks good with her head control and all her other milestones too.. So the doctor says.. "She's perfect!".. which I already knew, of course.. We did get another "wait and see" answer from her on the reflux issue.. since she IS gaining weight.. So I guess I am okay with that.. or at least I will be until she has another BAD day..
We are seeing the real Dr. for Eve's 4 month appt. The downside to this office, is its a little tricky to get in for well visits, especially with the Dr. (they are always VERY easy to get in if you are sick, they have seen DH within an hour before)...We had to get "squeezed" in the Dr's schedule and its on a Tuesday rather than a wednesday.. So Hopefully Jeff can get off of work, because I can't do shots without him!
I feel like I had something else to write about too.. but it is lost for the moment..

Yay for liking new Dr! I was going to ask you how it went! It is only a short time and then she won't be needing well visits often at all!
She looks beautiful, your doing a great job mommy!
