its been awhile!

i haven't blogged in about 2 weeks! Mostly just because there is not much going on! Yesterday was my first Mothers Day. It was wonderful. We went to brunch with our parents. Eve got me the boppy that matches her bedroom and some books for her about mommys. One is called "My Mommy is Mine" and i love it! I also got some goodies from my MIL.. shirts and flip flops..and outfits for Evie..Then after brunch, We all took naps, then we went over to Target and browsed for awhile.. and then Jeff took me out to dinner. Just a great day.

In other Evie news, she's getting really big and strong. She weighs 9lb13oz.. she gained about 12 oz in 2 weeks, which I am really happy with.. She will be 11 weeks tomorrow. There was a 6lb baby who was about 4 weeks at Mommy and Me today and I can't believe how much BIGGER and stronger Eve seems. Its amazing how fast she changes! I can't believe how fast time is flying by. She is great at holding her head up when sitting.. So she likes to sit on our laps and look at things and "talk" to us.. She isn't quite laughing yet.. I can't wait to hear her first laugh.. But she gets really excited and smiles like she's about to laugh. Just today she grabbed onto a toy (with a little encouragement from mommy) and was kind of moving it around and touching it and looking at it! I was so proud that I cried! I have to go to work now, but I will add some pics.
