More on Evie.

I've been so bad at blogging lately, but I realized today that i should try to keep track of what Evie has been doing and such. Honestly.. for the first month or so, she didn't do much, so there wasn't much to keep track of.. but lately she is getting to be so much fun.

Some highlights.
*Most nights for the last week or so, she has "Slept through the night".. OK.. I guess you can't technically consider it that, but she usually sleeps 6-7 hours for one stretch at night. I am really happy with that for a 5-6 week old baby!

*Just within the last few days, she is really starting to look at things and react to them.. She looks at the mobile on her swing, the little toys that dangle from her bouncy seat, and little rattles and things we will hold up for her.


Today I put her first hangy toy on her carseat so she'll have something to look at. :) Also, the funniest thing in the whole wide world, is her daddy blowing bubbles with bubble gum.



*I don't know if this is normal, or a reflex or what.. But when I hold her up under her arms and she pushes up on her legs, she will actually "walk",and take little steps forward. We got a video of it last night.. Its so cute! I can't find the cable for the video camera though.. Darn!

She doesn't really smile consistently yet.. I really can't wait for her to start..
