Eve had her 2 month Dr appt this morning.. It went pretty well. She had to get 3 shots and an oral vaccine (which I am fairly certain she spit up most of it when we put her in her carseat to leave).
She still only weighed 8lb12oz.. but somehow she moved up a little bit on the growth chart.. so the dr was happy with that, even though she is only like the 3rd percentile.. She is 60th percentile for height..at 23in..
My little peanut... I don't know what to think about it really.. i mean she IS growing.. but its so frustrating seeing all these other people with babies that are like 12-13 lbs at 2 months old..(my one friends baby was actually almost 13lbs at ONE month and he was born at only 7lb11oz) and she wasn't THAT small when she was born, so i feel like she's falling behind, you know.. And then I have the dumb fear that none of her summer clothes that are 3-6 months are going to fit her since she is just barely fitting in 0-3 month clothes now. i know its a dumb thing to worry about.. but it makes me feel like something is wrong, since everyone is always saying how their kids are in a size ahead.. But she is perfectly healthy and has plenty of diapers and all of that.. so I really shouldn't worry.. But there is no such thing as not worrying if you are a mommy.
In other news, my coworker who is dating her stepbrother had her baby today.. Her water broke at like 3am and she had the baby at 9:30am, after only an hour and a half of "hard labor" whatever that means.. Her little girl only weighed 6lbs..

Don't worry. If it helps, Paige hasn't broken the 12lb mark yet. We went to the doctors last wk and she was only at 11.13. And she is 2 months older. You're doing a great job. She does not look unhealthy or too skinny and thats what I tell myself about Paige too. Hope all is well - miss you guys!
