Look how cute he/she is.. In case anyone is not an u/s expert.. Thats baby's head on the left.. with the yolk sac up above the head.. Then you can kinda see the two little round looking arms, and the belly, and then the two super cute stumpy legs.. We actually saw baby kick his/her little legs today. How cute!!! I am officially totally and completely in love with this baby... seeing him or her today really made my entire day.. I am over the moon.
Today was my first regular OB appt. I didn't really expect to get an u/s today.. especially since I just had one last week. I don't know if its because my OB hadn't gotten my chart from the RE or not, or its just the norm for them on the first appt. Of course when they said that, I was excited, but nervous.. but baby is getting so big it was really easy to see him/her right away! And It only took a second or two before I could make out the heartbeat too.. My Dr. doesn't do measurements or check the h/r in the office.. So for now she is using my LMP date... which on their little wheel is a day behind every other due date calculator in the world.. so now I have yet another EDD.. 3/3/09. She said once we do the NT scan and get the measurements from that, she may change the EDD. So according to that, I am 9 weeks today. My Dr said baby "looks" about 9 weeks, and that that the heartrate looked good. It was SO cool to see the little legs kick. Jeff was so excited about this, cuz the Dr. said it's kind of unusual to see movement this early.. so he says our baby will be an athletic superstar (hmm. this kid MIGHT be his, but its also coming from me.. and i find it hard to believe ANY child of mine will be an athletic superstar).
I haven't scheduled my NT scan yet, but I am hoping it will be in about 3 weeks. :)

I'm so glad everything is going good! When we had an u/s at 8w5d we saw our baby's hand moving across the screen, it was truly amazing.
