So this morning was my 17 week dr appt.. (I'm 17 weeks! I never thought I'd EVER get this far..). It was short and sweet.. I have gained 3 lbs since my last appt (where i was down 1lb,) so I am at +2 for the pregnancy. Not bad! It was SOOO much easier to hear the babies heartbeat on the doppler this time.. it was loud and clear.. (the last time it was hardly audible).. And it was SO nice to hear.. Jeff said he could hear the sound of the baby moving/rolling over too, but I didn't hear it, which makes me feel like a little bit of a bad mommy. The baby did swim away from the doppler once.. I guess he/she just doesn't like to be listened too.. But the heartrate was 160.. So everything is great so far!
(TMI AHEAD)
Then, after we got in the car and I got out to go to walmart, i felt a little bit of wetness.. I just chalked it up to a lot of discharge. Later, when I went to the bathroom.. I realized it was pee.. Not a lot.. enough to make my undies wet, but not like I peed all over myself. Still kinda yucky.. And I really thought it was too early for this to happen! I didn't feel like I peed! I've heard all about it on the nest boards.. but its one of those things that I thought would never happen to me.
After walmart, we ate some breakfast and then went to Target, and i found the comfiest, softest maternity lounge pants. I wear yoga pants to work usually.. and my normal yoga pants still fit OK, I just wear them under my belly.. so I was holding off on buying any "work" pants, but it just so happened, that I had no clean pants to wear to work today, (I was gonna wear a skirt instead).. and while we were in the Target maternity section, they put them out on the rack.. It was meant to be.. They are the softest material. (Modal, I think) so they are soft, but they have a firm-ish elastic waist band so they stay where they are supposed to, and make my belly look super cute. And only $20. (If they were a LITTLE bit less, I'd buy 3 more pairs!)
After work I came home and watched the season premiere of SVU.. A bit of a disappointment I must say.. boo..

I was laughing my head off at the plumbing post. Only out of love for you, you know that right. Oh man that brought up memories that I don't want to relive. lol. I am so glad that it is fixed. I am also glad that you got some soft pants by the way I am going to have to go to Target now. But I am mostly over the moon that everything is good with the pregnancy. This is it. It is your time honey.
