No Swaddle.

So on Saturday night I decided to stop swaddling Eve cold-turkey. She had been rolling over in her swaddle in the crib (even though she struggles rolling over NOT swaddled).. and the opportunity presented itself (she went to sleep at MILs and i brought her home and swaddling her just would have woken her up more). The first night she slept GREAT.. So I was optimistic.. but then I realized how SAD it made me that my little girl was growing up and didn't need to be swaddled anymore. A plus side though, since she has her hands.. she figured out she can suck her thumb at night.. Its the cutest thing ever.

So night two.. did not go nearly as well.. She woke up a LOT.. after about an hour and a half in bed.. then again probably every hour or two.. At first we could just go in and stick the paci back in and she'd fall back asleep but as the night wore on, she would get more and more agitated everytime she'd wake up..

So tonight is night three.. upon suggestion of a nestie we are trying a sleep sack.. problem is the only one I have is a velboa one.. so I just have her in a t-shirt and her arms are bare.. so I hope she is not too warm or her arms too cold (her room is pretty warm tonight even though its chilly outside). So far, no wake ups (knock on wood).. she's been asleep for just over 2 hours... and in her crib for about an hour and a half. I really hope its a good night because Jeff and I both ahve to work in the morning.

Also in fun news.. we took Eve swimming for the first time. We didn't get any pics of her in the big pool, but I took some pics at home afterward and in her baby pools.
